    Toelichting

    Voor deze test is een bloedafname vanuit een ader nodig. Afname gebeurt via een prikpost bij jou in de buurt. Bij iedere bestelling hoeft maar 1 keer een bloedafname besteld te worden, zelfs als je meerdere tests bestelt.

    De kosten voor de bloedafname bij de prikpost inclusief testkit en verzendkosten bedragen € 21,90.

    Are you allergic to inhaled substances? 

    This Phadiatop (SX-1) allergy screening test measures in your blood whether you are allergic to inhaled allergens such as pollen or animal dander from: 

    • House dust mite
    • Tree pollen (mix TX9)
    • Grass pollen (mix GX3) 
    • Weed pollen (mix WX3) 
    • Mold spores (mix MX1) 
    • Dog dander (E5) 
    • Cat dander (E1)

    If the results of the initial screening test is positive, and you would like to proceed with further testing tot determine exactly which susbtance you are allergic to, please email [email protected] to request follow-up testing. 
    The cost for the extended panel is €176. 

    Some individuals may have a hypersensitivity to certain substances. This hypersensitivity can manifest in various ways - for instance, respiratory symptoms after inhalantion. Allergy testing often begins with a screening panel that includes a mix of common allergens. A negative result on this mix means that all individual components in the panel are also considered negative. 

     

    Which specific substance are you allergic to? 

    This test only shows whether you are allergic to inhalant allergens in general - not which specific ones.  If the result of the screening is positive, addition testing can identify the specific allergen(s) triggering the immune response. 

    The following tests are availeble at €29 each: 

    • Food mix (FX-5)
    • Tree pollen mix
    • Grass pollen mix
    • Weed pollen mix 
    • Mold mix
    • Dog dander (E5)
    • Cat dander (E1)
    • House dust mite 

    Special allergen testing (individual allergens not included in the standard mixes) is also available at €39 for a test.

    Is it anonymous? 

    Bloedwaardentest never shares your results with insurance companies or (general) practitioners. You’ll receive the blood collection tubes at the address you provided. These tubes are labeled with a barcode that links to your specific test, but no one can see what is being tested—only the lab system can. The results are sent exclusively to the email address you entered. You may place the order under a different name if you wish, but do not change your date of birth, as test results are interpreted based on your age and gender.

    How will I receive my results?  

    You’ll receive your results in a PDF document by email. If any result is extremely high or low and requires immediate medical attention, you will be contacted for a personal consultation before receiving your results. Other abnormal values are marked with an upward arrow (↑) for high values and/or a downward arrow (↓) for low values. Keep in mind that a blood or urine test is just a snapshot in time. It may be wise to repeat tests that show room for improvement after a month. In case of medical symptoms, you should always consult your (general) practitioner.
